The first memory I have of the city itself is from when I was very very small. The one thing I remember was looking up. Whenever people visit this city, they do the same thing, look up. They look up at the vast array of buildings and architectural splendor that New York City has to offer. There aren’t other cities in the world that have buildings like this city does, with buildings stretching from back before colonization and colossal skyscrapers being built as we speak. But the appreciation for their aesthetic is sometimes rare, and we never take the true time to look at our city. In a world where we are all preoccupied with our lives, we should (in this city) take the time to look up.
