This spring, the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Future Film Scholars and Future Imagemakers met to discuss what makes the still image a unique form of art. The young photographers offered some of their work to the young writers for response. What resulted ranges from analysis to creative interpretation to short narrative. This book offers a diverse conversation between teen artists that reflects the many ways in which images are received and understood.
