My interest in film and photography has grown in the course of two years. For my Final Project I decided to photograph high school students because I wanted to portray the different emotions students have throughout their high schools years. Being a high school student myself I wanted to show what a high school student looked like through the eyes of another classmate. I started to see a change from Freshman to Senior year as a student goes through different phases. And with each phase comes a different emotion like confusion, understanding, vulnerability and confidence. When people look at my photographs I want them to look at the emotions in each photo and see that each student differs from the other. High school is all about finding yourself and getting to know your own feelings.
